The Best Robot Vacuum and Mop Combo
The Q Revo is a good choice if you're looking for a mid-range robot vacuum and mop. It has a great mopping capability, but it lacks some of the advanced features of its more expensive counterpart.
During tests it was able to eliminate pet hair and dry oats from carpets with a medium pile. But, unlike cheaper models, it doesn't use LIDAR to help you map your home.
Roomba s9+ iRobot from iRobot
The iRobot Roomba S9+ robot vacuum is one of the most highly-rated robots. It comes with a variety of features and impressive cleaning power, such as the dirt compartment integrated into the charging base. This robot can also learn your cleaning habits and suggest schedules that are automatic to provide a hands-free and effortless experience.
The setup process is simple thanks to the iRobot Home app that walks you through the procedure. Once everything is connected, you can start the automated cleaning functions with the push of a button. You can opt for an overall clean that focuses on cleaning up larger debris like rice and cereal or go for two thorough mappings of your area to ensure that your home is properly arranged.
This robot vacuum performs well on both floors that are bare and carpets with low pile. It can pick up pet hair and sucks big objects up. It doesn't lose suction as quickly as other robot vacuums. It does have a hard time with high-pile or plush carpet, but iRobot promises it will improve with the next models.
The S9+ features a new design from iRobot, which is focused on enhancing edge and corner cleaning. It's the first Roomba to adopt a flat-fronted D-shaped design, which it hopes will allow it to fit into furniture and walls. It's a step up from the hockey puck-shaped robovacs which are common, but we found it to be just marginally superior to circular models.
iRobot also claims that the S9+ has a superior filtering system that blocks microscopic dust particles and allergens from circulating in your home. It's a nice claim, however, we're not convinced that it's enough to justify the premium price tag.
Its smart navigation system uses sensors that remember the layout of your home and vSLAM technology to map your interior. It can then clean your entire home efficiently by avoiding obstacles such as stairs and other barriers. The iRobot Home app lets you control the robot and schedule cleaning times, as well as establish virtual boundary markers, so it knows to avoid areas that require extra attention.
2. Roborock Q Revo
Roborock Q Revo is a robotic that is a combination of mopping and vacuuming. Its vac settings are just as effective as those of higher-end models, and its mopping system is better still--its spinning pads do a more impressive job of scrubbing your floors than a stationary vibration pad.
The only issue is that it lacks an additional rubber brush to allow for more thorough cleaning, but that's an affordable price to pay if you want to get one of the best robots available. The dust tank on the robo-vac is larger than its competitors, and filling it up takes only two or three cycles, even when you have maximum dirt.
As for the mopping device, I was impressed with its ability to scrub tough dirt from my floors. Its two lowest mopping settings that are less powerful than high-powered modes, produce very little noise, so you can work or even watch television without being distracted. It will gently hit a wall or furniture and then move on if it comes across one.
What makes the Q Revo apart is that it's designed to run nearly completely autonomously, requiring only a little for user intervention. The robo-vac features a multi-function dock that automatically moves physical trash to the bin hidden from view, as well as cleans and drys the mop pads, and refills its clean water tank. The app is capable of notifying you when something requires attention, for example, the water tank being empty or a scheduled vacuuming session being cancelled due to a stuffed dust bin.
You can also create or merge rooms to alter the way Q Revo treats your home. This is an excellent feature if you have multiple rooms in your home that have different floor materials or if there's a lot of items that need to be cleaned out frequently, like toys, clothes and books. The robo-vac is also efficient and was among the top performers in my tests, removing debris from both carpets and hardwood floors in the first attempt. It can even vacuum up wet spills. I suggest drying the area with a towel prior to sending it into.
3. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Omni
The X2 Omni has all of the features you'd expect from a premium robot vacuum and mop combo and more. Like the iRobot Roomba S9+, it is a top-quality vacuum that has a powerful suction to clean carpets and hard floors, as well as an omni-rotating mop that scrubs tough stains. It also has an auto-cleaning base station that automatically cleans and empty mop pads, keeping them germ-free and ready for use again. best robot vacuums 2022 comes with a sensor that can detect obstacles better, allowing it to avoid falling on furniture or other objects.
The biggest improvement to the ECOVACS The X1 Deebot is the sleeker, modern design. This is due to the Danish company Jacob Jensen Design, best known for their Bang & Olufsen product line. The robot is still big. It measures over two feet in the height and depth and weighs almost four pounds. However the robot as well as its base are smaller than the Roborock Q Revo or iRobot J7.
This version is more efficient than the X1 since it charges faster and can clean 1,500 square feet in a single charge. Additionally, it comes with a larger, more durable dustbin to hold more debris, making it easier to empty it when needed.
The X2 Omni also has a more natural voice assistant as well as an app that works even when you're at home. It also has more mopping options and a smart routing feature that gives it the flexibility to clean specific rooms or areas of your home instead simply following a predetermined path.

The X2 Omni is the top robot for mopping. Its mop pads rotating clean tough stains and its motor produces a lot of downward pressure. Its vacuuming performance is also outstanding, and it also increases suction when it detects a carpet to ensure a thorough cleaning. It also has a huge battery that can last for several weeks between charges and its mopping mode is as effective as any we've seen in an ordinary robot.
4. Dreametech L10s Ultra
The Dreametech L10s Ultra robot vacuum and mop is a high-end model that comes with a variety of features that aren't typically found on robots of this price. It can create detailed floor maps and detect various flooring types. It's also among the only robots that automatically clean and dry its mop pad. These features are great however they can push the L10s into the premium category. This could mean it's more expensive than what homeowners would need.
It is designed to resemble a modern floor cleaner, the L10s Ultra is a tall and slim machine with an elegant white finish that's enhanced by silver elements and mirror plating. The front of the machine is dominated by a huge bumper that helps protect furniture and the vacuum from damage when moving through the house. In the pane in the front is additional navigation technology in the form of sensors that aid the L10s Ultra maneuver tight corners and avoid obstacles.
On the top of the vacuum there is a single button that serves as an on/off switch. The button will activate the vacuum. If you click it again, it will turn it off and transmit it to its base station. The control panel is an oblique menu that lets you select cleaning modes or schedules, as well as preferences. The left and right buttons on the screen will bring up the settings menu of the app where you can modify how the L10s Ultra works with your home.
Like the iRobot Roomba S9+ and Roborock Q Revo, the L10s Ultra uses a combination of LIDAR and camera-based navigation technologies to help you map out your home. This helps the robot vacuum and mop effectively without getting stuck. The LIDAR also helps the robot vacuum to recognize and avoid obstacles, which is a nice feature for families with pets or children.
The L10s Ultra is an extremely powerful vacuum cleaner, removing 98.4 percent of the debris we test on hard floors, and getting rid of all but the most stubborn juice staining. Its mops also do a great job and remove 98.4 percent of the debris from our tile, carpet, and wood tests. It was not as effective in removing sand from our hard floor or quaker oats from the carpet.
